What You See Is What You Get

On my first post I mentioned this information but as my posting progresses it begins to seem as though I should have this posted somewhere for easy reference.

Mainly, what you see is what you get means that the photos of outfits, and skins, etc. on this blog are not processed in photoshop as to lighting, blending, liquifying etc. If you would like to see some of my photos that have been processed, please feel free to check out my flickr stream which is linked on this page. I don’t feel it’s right to alter the pics on the blog in any way for purposes of review, etc, since that is not the way the items will look in world.

I also do not use windlight atmospheric shaders most of the time simply because my laptop tends to make upsetting noises and I get many more blue screens of death when I do. My photos are usually taken in basic shaders only with a windlight lighting preset of my own design which derives from those by Caliah Lyon etc. I find this gets the best results for my purposes without straining my computer excessively.

I do clip my photos from the studio background and then place them on the composites as you see on the entries. This is largely to save space more than anything.

I hope this is helpful 🙂
